Zed's Dead

Zed’s Dead is a dubstep/hardcore/progressive/electronica duo from Toronto, Ontario composed of DC and Hooks. The name Zed's Dead comes from the duo's actual names, Zack and Dylan (Z & D), but it's also a homage to the film Pulp Fiction. Their name is derived from a line in the movie, said by Bruce Willis. "Zeds dead baby." They started out as Mass Production, creating laid-back classic instrumental hip-hop beats. They were over that stage and moved onto dubstep and electro. In the last year Zeds Dead has shared the stage with Crookers, DJ Zinc, Dieselboy, Kissy Sellout, Nero, Borgore, Skrillex, Jack Beats, Calvin Harris, Bar9, Doctor P, Flux Pavillion, DJ Marky, Laidback Luke, Marco Del Ahorno, Drop the Lime, Emalkay, Fake Blood, Annie Mac, & countless others.

Diplo

Wesley Pentz (Diplo) worked on M.I.A’s albums which earned him a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year. He has also worked with Santigold, Lil’ Jon and Missy Elliot. He’s remixed works by Beck, Radiohead, Britney Spears and many more. Pentz has his own record label called Mad Decent, where he helped produce or sign artists such as Rye Rye, Bonde do Role, Crookers, Blaqstarr, Boy 8-Bit, Buraka Som Systema, and Rusko. Through his label, he found a way to give back to the world. He founded a charity called Heaps Decent as a social relief program to help children in Australia as well as with additional efforts internationally. I would hope artists will be inspired to follow in his footsteps and use music as a way to help others.

FuntCase

James Hazell or Funtcase started off producing Drum and Base and then got into the Dubstep scene as a joke. After realizing how much fun dubstep was, he joined the music scene we all love. He got picked up by Circus record label after he produced some buzz worthy songs. On stage Hazell wears a mask which is actually ‘Cyberman’ from Doctor Who.

Eskmo

Brendan Angelides or Eskmo has produced over a dozen singles and EPs. He started out in Connecticut and moved to San Francisco. He began performing electronic music in 1999. He has been touring throughout Europe and North America. His music is stimulating but isn't too much to handle. His music ties in glitch, dubstep and r&b. He doesn't have heavy beats but it can be very relaxing jam music. Angelides also started his own fully distributed digital label in 2009 called "Ancestor".

Upcoming tour dates can be found here.
